I'm Amanda, an entrepreneur with a passion for turning small businesses into thriving success stories. Over the years, I've had the incredible opportunity to be part of two remarkable journeys, where I played a pivotal role in transforming them into prospering enterprises.
By nature, I’m an integrator. When presented with a need or idea, I can see the parts and pieces that need to be put in place to see that vision come to life.
I began my journey in the corporate world as an administrative assistant, supporting four executives. From there I made the leap into the world of small business. I was brought on as the Office Manager for a startup electrical contractor. I worked side-by-side with the owners and field workers handling day-to-day operations. Establishing lines of credit with suppliers, obtaining permits, submitting payroll, accounts receivable, and making spec books were just a few of the tasks. Employees wear many hats in a small business, so I even unloaded trucks with the skid loader on occasion!
After having our second child, my husband and I decided it would be best for me to be a stay at home mom. Little did I know at the time that “stay at home” didn’t keep me busy enough. I simultaneously managed two part time jobs, a virtual assistant to a blogger and payroll/bookkeeping for a small painting contractor to keep me busy and contribute to our little family.
In 2015, I decided to start my own mobile spray tanning business. I was able to schedule the appointments around our family schedule and ended up finding a true passion in the beauty industry. Fast forward a few years and I ended up merging my business with a fellow, established spray tanning business. Together, we have grown the business from three employees, to assembling a talented team of over twenty. We have grown, managed to streamline our operations and have been voted “Best Spray Tan in Kansas City” by multiple publications.
Every step of this journey has been a learning experience and I look forward to helping you take your business to the next level.
